Eyes On The Savior
S - “But you all came to me and said, ‘First, let’s send out scouts to explore the land for us. They will advise us on the best route to take and which towns we should enter.’ (Deuteronomy 1:22 NLT)
O - God call Israel to go and take the land, yet they wanted to check it out and make sure it was good enough and which towns were the best and which way to enter this land. Moses even agreed to this.
A - Following God and going where he leads is what we are called to do. Not make sure where we are going is good and how we are going to do the things he leads us to. Really, in all honesty, I don't even think our job is to check out where he is leading us. I must keep my eyes on him. Any place else will cause me to stumble.
P - Father, what an example of my life here.mi always want to know more than you desire. I must keep one thing as my goal, eyes on the Savior.
