THE GREAT PASSOVER

This ancient memorial of the Passover had greater significance than any Israelite of that day could imagine, however wonderful the Exodus events were. Redemption from Egypt was a picture of greater redemption yet to be, when the blood of Christ would speak better things than the blood applied to the doors in Egypt. Christ is now our eternal Passover (1 Cor. 5:7). Our Passover is in the heavelies; because of Him our sins are remembered against us no more.

Today's Thought: Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once and for all, having obtained eternal redemption. Hebrews 9: 12
