Water turn to Wine

My confusion here is why througout the God's Word is it not okay to get to the point of drunkeness but clearly states here that Jesus turns Water to Wine to please the people at the wedding? there has been conflicting debates over this throuout my church,my family and my friends... I find it personally wrong to engage in any drinking as i wanna keep my temple pure and clean for the sake of what god has given us...
