Jonah: Outrageous Obedience
God’s outrageous love for us compels us to act in obedience to His calling on our lives. He is working ahead of us preparing the way for what He’s going to do next, and He wants to use us! That’s the amazing part. He desires to use us regardless of our past mistakes and present doubts. God is simply outrageous in His pursuit to use broken people tosave lost people. Most of us know the verse John 3:16 by heart (say it out loud together if you do). The verse immediately after says, “For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.” God’s design and desire is for lost people to know Him through the words and actions of those who already do.
