We Fall Down!-Pastor Robinson

*No matter the type or magnitude of all fall, it can be devastating. -Usually when there is a fall, there is an investigation bc when you're concerned about someone you want to know the circumstance whether it is accidental, purposely, or someone pushed them. *We have all experienced some type of fall. -The fall has either shattered bones or tore down our spirit or both. -There are some of us who fall majorly like DSK. ~In the case of DSK it appears that his fall wasnt accidental or pushed, but rather he jumped. -For some there are cushions to break their fall & they don't have to fully deal with the consequences of their fall. -Now every fall isn't accidental but rather incidental due to the circumstances they face. *In the Bible, there are many instances that show those who have jumped (David) & those who have slipped (Samson), but in this text Joseph was pushed. He fell & fell hard -Regardless of the circumstance of the fall, it still interupts the favor of God. *The enemy see the higher we rise as a challenge to make us fall & the harder he will try to make that fall happen. -When the enemy sees the favor of God, the more attractive you are to the enemy. He is not stupid. *Potifer's wife was definitely intrigued by Joseph's look. She wanted him BAD. -Although Potifier's wife was tenacious after Joseph, but he stood by his morals & his God. -But Potifier would not take no for an. answer & tried one last time, but Joseph's integrity outlasted her tenacity. -Potifier's wife wasn't pleased & pushed Joseph from his place on high down to his master's prison. *But praise be to God that although, we might fall from the place where we are now, it is only a placeholder. -God is preparing to take us to a higher place. *Despite the enemy's tenacity, if we stick with our integrity, God has promised to give us exceedingly, abundantly what we could ask for. *We have to accept the fact that we are going to experience falls (slip, trip, jump, or pushed), but we have to keep the faith that God still has our back & is going to pick us up & take us to a higher place.
