This is my favorite of all verses in the Bible. If we seek God in our life, we will receive His steadfast love, it is always there for us, we just have to receive it. When I was a court clerk there was a case that came before the judge that was about letting land go fallow. Fallow ground is where the land is allowed to grow wild, it may be treated to rid it of bad weeds, it may be allowed to rest so the soil can become rich again, it may rest because the the farmer is lazy. We all have fallow ground in our lives, God will point these out to us when the time is necessary. It is up to us when they are pointed out if we "break up" our fallow ground. When the farmers plow their fields the earth breaks into large dirt clots. When the rain comes, if the ground is not broken, the water will run down the turn rows, thus the fields miss the blessing of the rain. But when the ground is plowed the rain can seep deep into the earth. When we break up our soil, God's blessings are allowed to flow deep within our spirits. His Blessings! Dana AKA Cookie
