Now, at first when they had just come out of Egypt, I understood their complaints and I felt bad for them. They didn't know God and had only heard of Him from their ancestors. They had been beaten by the Egyptian slave masters so all their hope had been beaten out of them. They were hopeless. 

But this is MANY years later. They have been through so many deaths because they doubted God and complained. Now, I'm not sure if this is a new generation with al their complaints, but it is getting annoying. It's like they don't see what God had done for them and they have forgotten how hard it was for them in Egypt.

Maybe it wasn't that hard being a slave in Egypt...

Do we complain like this? Do we continue asking God for more and more after each blessing because we just aren't satisfied?

Maybe God should just take everything away where we have to beg, scrimp and steal just to make ends meat. Maybe God should just make us homeless so that we can appreciate the fact that He has blessed us once before. Maybe God should just take us back to where we started....

See, the thing is, if we go back...THINGS WON'T BE THE SAME. They will be worse! 

This is why we should be grateful for what he have, where we have been and where we are going. We should NEVER forget where our blessings come from. Our past is a reminder of where we've been and we must trust God to find out where we're going. 

Eventually, God is going to tire of your complaining and shut you up. You don't want that!
