Worship!

Nehemiah 12:27-47

I can only imagine what the worship must have sounded like that day as in my mind I walk though the dusty streets of people dancing and celebrating. They must have looked drunk, but I know they were not, they were just so happy. The Israelites had worked so hard in service to the Lord and now was the time to served Him in worship. I love how no one complained, "Is the music ever going to end?" They could stand, sit, dance, pray, or even nap, whatever the Lord called them to. I can only imagine what it was to walk down the street the sights, sounds, smells (food). Each corner I turn Hearing a combination of music, then to walk a little further and have it clear up where I can only hear the next genre of music. Wow! In Texas we have Rock the Desertand this is what this must have been like. A lot of Worship. A lot of Prayer. A lot of Fellowship. A lot of God!
