Consequences!
Nathan's prophesy was spot on. God forgave David but he still faced the consequences.
David didnt fight back even he easily could have. Saul would have, we saw him repeatedly fighting against God's will (see what that got him). David submitted, in good, in bad, to God's will. infact, he asked that the Ark be taken back.
God worked swiftly to destroy his enemies because of his attitude.
Check ur attitudes in d face of God's pruning. And may God have mercy on us in spite of our sins
