This announcement made to Mary was the beginning of a new era. The era of FAVOR. A time period marked by the mercy and grace of God. This new era would begin with a pregnant unwed teenager in Galilee.

Day 9: Accepted & Approved By God

Just as God found favor with Mary (v. 30), God find's favor with us through the baby Mary would give birth to in Bethlehem: Jesus. Because of Jesus God finds favor with us, with me. I have the approval of my Creator, in Christ. That should change everything. That approval pushes back my fears. It gives me freedom and strength to be wide open and willing to to do anything for God.

I pray that I will live today, moment by moment, as an approved, accepted, and unafraid child of God. "For nothing is impossible with God."
