God sent Jesus to this earth in the likeness of sinful flesh. However, Jesus did not sin. He aligned Himself with the will of His Father, God.
It is important to understand that Jesus endured the sufferings without divine intervention. In other words, God did not make Him numb so he would not fell pain, isolation, rejection, and people speaking against Him.
Jesus endured the cross so we might have life.
Life in the Spirit is how the Lord perfects our faith. We align our self to God's Word.
Romans 8:7 says the carnal mind is enmity (hostile) against God. When we live according to the flesh, we cannot please God (Romans 8:8).
Because of Christ perseverance of the cross, we have access by grace to live in the Spirit.
