I am blameless!
Wow. What chutzpah! Nowadays we don't believe we could "keep ourselves from sinning." At very most we can say that "God through us has kept us from sinning by the power of the Holy Spirit." So, what IS this? A lie? A misunderstanding? Is this an indication that through the Bible the authors gain a better understanding of how God works in us? I do think it is the latter. For, as the Wesleyans would believe, we CAN be blameless in this life, so long as we are connected to the Enabling Spirit who teaches us a right way to live in Him.
