Are these guys real?
Gosh! What kind of friends are these? Such acidic tongues. How could they further bruise a sorrowing heart so?
Not that they should lie to Job when he is in the wrong. But it's obvious that they dont know the guy at all. They assumed that he had stripped his debtors, turned widows away,etc and thats why he was been punished...Its too much. No wonder God had to come Himself later to vindicate him. Job suffered unimaginably: loss of family, property, health, contempt & abandonment from wife who felt he stank, friends who thought he was a criminal... Nothing good was happening anywhere near Job.
Goes to show that God is able to turn the greatest evil meant by the devil around for our good.
