The Answer

The answer to every question in this passage is: God. This is a conversation you would expect a dad to have with his teenage son. This would go along the lines of the Lord disciplining those he loves. I would never expect God to be sarcastic, but like a good parent he could only allow arrogance to go so long unchecked.
