Proclaim the Word of God

S - “Let these false prophets tell their dreams, but let my true messengers faithfully proclaim my every word. There is a difference between straw and grain! (Jeremiah 23:28 NLT)

O - Jeremiah is speaking against the false prophets that keep claiming to speak the word of the Lord. Then he instructs true followers of God allow them to speak of their dreams, but they are to speak every word God has spoken. Anyone who truly is looking for truth will be the difference between a lie and the truth.

A - In my life I have been around people who claim to speak for the Lord. I would get angry and argue with them and it would turn into a debate of intelligences. I have learned, a true follower of God is one who just sticks to the word. Read it, study it, meditate on it, then speak it. I was not placed here to debate, but to speak the words of God. Anyone who is looking for truth will see God's word is truth. Everyone else, to speak and debate with them is like throwing pearls before swines.

P - Father, thank you for giving me your truth and allowing me to understanding it and to learn from it. I will not wonder from it nor from you. Show me all the wonders and wisdom given in your word. Teach me so I can proclaim your truth. Give me patience for those who are slow to respond and the ability to walk away from those who oppose you and your truth.
