He gets hurt
Ezekiel 4 - 7 Revelation 3
S: Ezekiel 6:9 - Then when they are exiled among the nations, they will remember me. They will recognize how hurt I am by their unfaithful hearts and lustful eyes that long for their idols. Then at last they will hate themselves for all their detestable sins.
O: After their severe punishment, Israel and Judah will see their sin and "hate themselves" for what they had done. I don't want it to take this kind of...punishment...for me to see how I hurt the LORD.
A: I don't know if I really understand that the LORD can be hurt. I just see Him as this strong person...invincible. And although He is, He does get hurt, too. So for me, I need to repent...not only out of fear of what can happen but out of love...love for the one who loves me more than I can ever imagine. As 1John says, anyone who thinks they are without sin is fooling themselves. 1John1:8 Even when I think I have 'good days' there is always something. Just need to keep humble and dependent on the LORD.
P: LORD, You are my life. Without You I am nothing. I have nothing. Continue to draw me close to You. I pray that for me and my family. Draw us close to You. Amen.
