*Our society is full of ppl who work tirelessly, they are nameless, just known as the help. *Many of us in the African American can identify with knowing the help. Many of our grandparents, great uncles, aunts, etc were the help. *The novel & movie documents the victories & defeats of African American maids during the Jim Crow era. *In reality, we have all felt underappreciated, underprivileged jut like the women in The Help. -It doesn't matter how far we may move in our lives, there are still those who view us as The Help. *Even in today, there are some of us who will always be seen as The Help because of our race, class, education. -And because we are simply The Help, we don't deserve certain privileges. *But when we know God, we are so much more than the Help. -God created us so that we may help each other. We all play a purpose in his kingdom. *We shouldn't write off The Help or even ourselves because we have help from God.
