- if work is just a means to pay the bills,it will be a prison - we can find God in our work

 the hierarchy: 

1 pastor 
2 overseas missionary 
3 elder 
4 full time Christian worker 
5 tent maker (if abroad)
 -line of despair- 
6 Christian in secular work 
7 Rich Christian in secular work 
8 parking attendants

-obey in everything. right actions in all things

 - behave at work as if the boss was looking over your shoulder all the time

 -reasons for this: the boss,the inheritance scheme 

-think of Jesus as your boss

 - right motives in all things - work was created before the fall

 - glorify God through the actual work (eg Daniel and Joseph)

 - 'my workstation is my worship station'

 - being a student is as much work as a job

 - you just aren't paid. 

- there is work in heaven 

- extending the sphere of Gods goodness 

- if you work as if for Jesus,it will be rewarded
