I just read someone's sermon on this chapter and the overwhelming msg is that you cannot quit on your faith or on Jesus. if you accept salvation, you have chosen a new life, not just a new religion or belief that makes it "easier." Jesus doesn't make life easier. He makes life worth living;He makes life worth giving.
God, please be with me today as I try to truly follow You. Help me to see when I start making decisions you would not choose. Help me to love You through my actions towards the ppl I meet and even in my thoughts towards others.
