A steward is ACCOUNTABLE. God is our Master and we are accountable to Him for all we are and all we are given.

2 corinthians

Sometimes you give in obedience and don't get to see the outcome or others squander the resources you gave.

Stewardship is about using your time FAITHFULLY, not about cramming your schedule.

Sometimes a faithful use of your time is to REST (keeping Sabbath etc.)! Spend some time in silence/solitude! Rest in His presence.

We must understand the will of God and be filled with His spirit if we are to be faithful stewards of our time.

Be faithful to your time with your family.

Emily Thought: we often say we need more hours in the day. do we really need more hours in the day or do we need to manage your time and prioritize more effectively?

Acts ch 2 - since Jesus rose from the dead, we have been living in the last days...we never know when the last day will be, but it is near! We don't know when He will return or when we will die.

Live realizing that every minute of every day is a GIFT!

Deception will characterize the end times...be careful to not be deceived.

Don't live your life in sin...

Emily question: what consumes your time, your thoughts etc.? That is your idol...the thing you worship and are a slave to. Instead of worshipping that idol, why not lay it at the Master's feet? (lay your idols down DAILY!)
Don't deceive yourself and believe that God is your master just because you go to church. Going to church is great and needed (If you're in a good/fruitful one), but it is possible to show up and to live a life unchanged by the Spirit!

You know the will of God by spending constant, daily time with Him in His Word!

Fellow Students: DON'T fall into the trap of thinking that doing our work in seminary is spending quiet time with God! Don't become complacent! Those are assignments and they can help us learn ABOUT God, but we need more than just knowing ABOUT Him! School may fill mostly your head, but let HIM fill your heart!! Sit at His feet daily and see what HE has to teach you about Himself and His plan for you!
