ask seek knock
Jesus was talking about prayer, teaching the disciples how to pray
then He told the to ask, seek and knock... those who ask will be answered, those who seek will find, and those who knock, tce door qik be opened.
a... we have be told to ask, seek, knock... which shows that there isnt just one way of praying, that we are to participate in. I think we all know how to ask God for stuff, and some of the church just knows how to ask God, using Santa prayers... but Jesus wants us to have more interaction with him than that... sometimes we need to seek out God, seek the answers, the direction that we are to go... this is a really active word, it involves effort, I think the church has lost this skill a bit, I know I dont seek heaps, but when I have it has been great, hard at times, but afterwards just have an assurance that is inside about where to go and what to do.
knocking is again an action word... prayer isnt just about asking it is about action... sometimes we are the answer to our own prayers.
