To the world, to those that do not believe, a divided church is proof that God does not exist and that organized religion is simply nothing more than an institution of man (which in many respects it is). But what if the church around the world spoke with one voice? In John 13:34-35, Jesus tells the disciples to love one another. By this, others would know that they were followers of Jesus.

Yet, how many churches have come into being because we can't stand one another? Now let's be realistic. This side of heaven, we will always have denominations and different factions of people within the church. It's naive to think that our humanity would allow anything else. Humans have been dividing themselves since the beginning of time, church or no church. That said, I do believe that there is a way to give voice to the global church. We must choose in some way to come together in one voice to tell the world that Jesus is real, He's alive and He loves you.

There is an undeniable center of the Christian faith. And that is Christ, the Word made flesh. Can we find a way to rally around the simple message of the Gospel and all choose to point towards Christ, the hope of the world?
