Is Your Faith Working for You? You and Your Bible

I. Over 18000 translations/versions of the Bible. We are surrounded by Christian music and programing. Do you get the message of the Bible?

II. Three steps to Bible blessing.
A. Receive it. (v. 21) Welcome the message into your heart. Be prepared to receive what is there to be shown.
1. Be careful
2. Be calm
3. Be clean - through confession
4. Be compliant

B. Reflect ( v 23)- Have you ever seen your self in the Bible?
Three ways to reflect
1. Read - gaze upon it not glance at it
2. Review - meditate on what you have read
3. Remembering - this would include scripture memory

C. Respond - Do what it says!
Let the Word of God change you!
Find a place of ministry. As James says, be a doer of the Word.
