Watching What I Watch
I felt like this verse really speaks to a determination and mindset that I want to practice more consistently. As a man in a sex-sells society, I'm frequently presented with the temptation to indulge or abstain from every angle. Sometimes I choose the right path but it's just as likely that I don't, and I want to change that. The author's clarity of direction in this verse helps me to remember what my decision needs to be wholeheartedly, every time. There are plenty of excuses I can make, but if this is my resolve, the only thing that matters is showing it through my actions.
