Again Jesus mentions the hypocrites, who pray to be seen as righteous. Again He says they have received their reward? Whats interesting is that he calls them hypocrites. That means perhaps that what they do is not sincere, but done to gain public favor, rather than a true desire to commune with God. But can we be hypocrites by doing something to gain heavenly favor, rather than a true desire to commune with God?
