Don't miss a night without a dose of prayer. It's a good medicine for a wounded heart and a worn out soul. Luke 21:37
So every day Jesus was teaching in the temple courts, but at night he went and stayed on the Mount of Olives. -Luke 21:37
What did Jesus do at night on the mount of olives? He prayed. Strength gained through praying at night, where a person's weakest part of his time is at night. Psalmist may say, though sorrows may last for a night but joy comes in the morning. At night people may feel alone, sad and dark is depressing. We can still be on guard at night by kneeling down and spending time in prayer. So that when morning comes, hope, peace and justice may come, for God did not just regain physical strength but restore our souls and calm our spirit. Don't miss a night without a dose of prayer. It's a good medicine for a wounded heart and a worn out soul.
