How much better is the Holy Spirit than knowing when something will happen? Yet we are always clamoring to know when something is going to happen! How quickly we forget how anti-climactic knowing can be. We all love a little suspense, but once it is alleviated is it satisfying? Not usually! Is the Holy Spirit satisfying? Always! Next time I want to know something, help me to remember that I get the Holy Spirit instead.
