World happiness is circumstantial
Happiness is not buying things to make you happy
Circumstantial and Self centered
Joy and happiness because he have receive divine favor
Our character should be base on beatitude
If we are not bless the way we are bless, do we still consider it as blessed.
Blessed - Joyful, Happy because when God see you He would be happy
Salvation will produce Spiritual Characteristic will of fruit base on beatitude
"Current" Ver 13-16
We need to be Spiritually current.
"Salt" It is the element with in it that makes it salty
It is not the past, but how is your Spiritual walk with God today?
"Light" our characteristic is to be exemplified
Personal Testimony - Outward expression of our inward infusion of the Grace of God
Is your testimony making an impact in God's kingdom and the world around you, today?
Positive testimony is essential in our Christian life
"Real" Ver 17-20
Jesus is looking for the Real kind
Focuses on personal renewal - Jer 31:33
Relies on the empowerment of the Holy Spirit - Phil 1:6
Jesus came to fulfill the law by empowering us to overcome it
Surrenders to Jesus - John 15:5
