after reading a few other ppl's notes on this parable, I think I get the point a little more now... The manager was basically continuing his cheating ways at his last day on the job to make other ppl happier with him so he would have ppl to go to for future employment, legal or otherwise. even his bos had to recognize the forethought.
what I don't quite understand yet is the application to my faith and living surrounded by ppl who don't believe. I'm not to be dishonest, but I should have more forethought and creativity in my actions to live out my faith so I actually have an effect on what ppl think about God - not just me...
first, I need to make sure I'm thinking about my faith and beliefs before I act...
