Rebuilding The Walls-Rev. Floyd Flake
*We as a society have been comfortable in the place where we are. -But we have to push. *How did we get to this pt? -We thought God had delievered, so we stop depending on him. *We have to stop looking for others to solve our problems, let us to be solution with God's help. *How long are we going to let the walls be torn down in our communities? -We have to step up to the plate. *How much longer are we going to sit on our visions? -We have to take our visions & run with them. *In Nehemiah, we find that the walls have been torn down for 70 years. -For 70 years there was no protection. The same could be said for the black community. *We have to change our vision. -Prioritize things by first working on our relationshop with God. -We have to realize that we can only receive the blessings God has stored up by being prepared for them. *Sometimes our greatest blessing comes when we move. -God has another vision that more than likely will not look ideal at the time. *There will always be some who don't understand & won't see your vision. There are some who will get mad or upset. -But we have to trust that God will do it. We have to lean towards & trust Jeremiah 29:11 *Sometimes there will be things that will block our path, but God will make a way somehow. -We have to believe God & know that no matter what set-ups & setbacks the enemy will place in our way, He has our back & everything will be alright. -God is going to work it out! *When God calls you, He will take care of you. *God will give us what we need to rebuild those walls. We will have struggles, but God has our back.
