life has lost meaning
Under unexplained and undeserved distress, we often echo Job's sentiments of wanting to be removed from this reality, because every notion of justice and logic within us has been betrayed by events in the natural. When up is no longer up and wrong is now right, we lose all sense of stability and comfort because the core of our understanding of life is being disrupted. Without this stability we're drawn to question the existence of any truth whatsoever, including God's existence or character.
