Feasting during fasting.

This passage reminds me of fasting. I have discovered that only replacement for physical food is spiritual food. It sounds a little odd, but i discovered this to be fact. When physical water dries up and literal bread is scarce in our day during a fast He blesses us with sustains us with His love. He satisfies us with His abundant joy. It's sounds odd, but even just a few minutes spent praying with an empty stomach leads to a feast for the soul. But I do warn you brothers and sisters, the greatest time of temptation Christ faced was during His 40 days in the desert. I have also found that otemptations poke at old wounds while physically weak. Be careful that you ask God for extra protection during a time of fasting.
