The Waiting Game

The Waiting Game!
1. Thess. 5:16-24
Without patience we will never be in the will of God
None of us like to wait
This season is the season of patience
Waiting is an anidote for a world gone mad
Advent means coming...we are waiting for the second coming of God
We have to learn to wait
Ways our wait is purposeful
1. Rejoice always--forever more
This rejoicing is thru recognizing God is in everything that we do
joy to the world!!!
God has to be in your life for joy to take place
2. Pray without ceasing
Empty yourself and invite God in your life
Lord come in!!!
Just to call on the name of Jesus will shake things up in your life
I need patience
A christian can turn to God for anything
3. In everything give thanks
Thing that have hurt us physically mentally and emotionally giving thanks will help you thru those areas
Who are called???
He will take that which is foolish and confound the wise!!!
The spirit promptings will cause you to:
1. Stop doing what is wrong
2. Start doing what is right
Give into the feelings of God
Cry out to God
When the holy ghost prompts you to do something....DO IT!!!
We have to become very sensitive to the move of God and voice of God...got to be sensitive.
He was there all the time
When you are going thru something....shout from your spirit....GLOOOOOOOOOOOOORAY!!!!
The way to keep this in tact we need to be joyful, be prayerful and be thankful
Test everything...test the spirit by the spirit
We have to learn to wait
Let God work on your temptations and struggles while waiting
