The church is in crisis because we have made it about us. Just like the church in Ephasis, we need to relearn what it means and looks like to be the church of the LIVING God.
Worship begins with prayer about the passion of God.
1 Timothy 2:5-6
Does God always get his way?
Ultimately things will turn out according to his will. In the mean time, he allows us to be foolish.
His desire/passion is that all men are saved.
Romans 2:5-6
We need rescuing from the consequences of our sin.
Romans 5:9-11
Read Romans 5,6,7,8
Sin is a heart condition that separates us from God's love.
Is selfishness the root of all sin?
Are we turning people off of Christ because we have turned even salvation into something about us?
God desires for ALL mem and women to be saved, not just me.
Commit your life to the King of Kings, not our selfish desires. Even if we achieve those desires we will remain empty.
