Two Perspectives
From the very first words of Jesus recorded in Luke's gospel, we get a clue to understanding the message of Jesus, a message that confused people then and now. Jesus responded to things from two perspectives simultaneously, that is an earthy perspective and a heavenly perspective. People were confused because they could only see things from an earthly perspective.
