Mere Humans
Whose words do we take as truth?
Even if we were to trust the words of an individual that doesn't believe we can ever know the truth -- we're still trusting that what they say is true... about the absence of truth.
People will say a variety of things that either crush us or temporarily make us feel better about ourselves.
You're too short.
You're too tall.
You're too smart.
You're too....
It seems like we'll never live up to everyone's expectations. So why do we trust them so much? Why do we hold their opinions about us in such high esteem?
Wouldn't it be better for us to at least hear out the God of all creation and who He says we are -- maybe in that message to our hearts ... we can find out who we were created to be originally.
And we are met with grace.
We we are met with a healthy view of ourselves that leads to humility.
Mere humans?
Their opinions?
Let's take the opinion of God over their wild expectations they may have for us.
