What happens if? Is pain coming? Can our leaders turn the direction we are headed in?

Paul gives us insight into what we are to do if we are faced with all he'll breaking lose in Philippians chapter 1.

1.) We need a right perspective. others can see our situation better than we can. We try to see around corners but God can see. Does God cause bad things, I don't think so but he can and does Use them for good. Look at Joesph and what his bothers tried to do and what God did with Joesph's life in Egypt. Mich 4:1

2.) We need to focus on what really matters. Phillippians 1:15-18. In the light of eternity not a lot matters, eternity is the lens we should use to filer what matters, what is important. James 4:14 says our life is a mist.

What do I do today. I hurt today. Philippians 4:6-9 God talks about controlling your mind, your thoughts. Not only what not to think about but what you should be thinking about.

1.) We also have to included prayer in our plan to deal with the current pain we are in. Psalm 37:11 Meekness really means that we can handle every thing by ourselves. 2.) What consumes my mind? Isaiah 26:3 We will never have real peace until we will get our mind fix. It's not our money or our environment that will deliver peace. Lamentations 3:19-23.

3.) Am I practicing Gods word. Are we practicing what we preach? Psalm 119:165, Matthew 7:24-25.
