During king darius's reign, Daniel the administrator was the envy of all the other satraps and administrators for the king wanted to set him over the whole kingdom. Thus, those colleagues started plotting and trying to find fault in him. However, they couldn't find any wrong in him that can be used against him, for daniel was a trustworthy man, neither corrupt nor negligent in his work. For me, I think as people that holds a job, daniel makes an excellent role model. We can learn from him by being excellent in our work, of good conduct, trustworthy and without corruption, yet upholding God's standards and making sure that people know who is the God that we worship, magnifying God's name at every opportunity. For Daniel it was to the point of entering the Lion's Den to show God's faithfulness and power.
