Resting with the Lord
From the mouth of the Lord we hear the admonition to rest. It was not out of laziness for we know that they were working non stop and would shortly have their rest interrupted further on in the passage. But it is important to recognize that God created us human with needs. We are not machines and though we rest we can be assured that God neither sleeps nor slumbers. His work will go on. But let us pull aside with Him to be renewed.
