A Child's Prayer
Oh my God, my precious Lord, my beautiful friend, thank you for being my Daddy, my Father, my Abba! You love me so much and you shaped me lovingly inside my mother's womb. Although I was shaped and born in sin, you still loved me. Daddy, although I was born out of incest, you didn't destroy me and you didn't see me as different, but you called me, You loved me, and you sheltered me. Through the years God, you've had your hands of love wrapped around me. You have never let me go neither have you abandoned me. I love you greatly Daddy, and I love living for you. I love worshipping you. I love honoring you. God, I love being different for you. You are my everything Daddy and I cannot trade you for anything in this world. You are so precious to me Daddy, and I promise to hold on to you with everything inside of me. You are the best Daddy in the world. Yes, you discipline me when I'm wrong and out of line, and it doesn't feel good, but if you didn't, that would mean that you don't care for me. You wouldn't even be a Daddy, but just God. But you are more than God, you are Daddy too. Your love letter to me says you chasten those you love, and I know you love me with an unshakeable, awesome, unfailing, solid, incomprehensible love.
