Helping the church be the church of the living God: men of prayer
Paul's desire is that all men know we now have access to God all the time.
Paul begins to give instruction on the structure of church.
First, men must pray!
Holy = purity
Hebrews 4-10
Jesus is the ONLY mediator
Romans 12:1-2
Not only are we to be a living sacrifice, but a Holy one. Be transformed!
Is Paul suggesting our prayer life is connect to our relationship with one another?
Matthew 5:23-24
1 Peter 3:7
Our vertical relationship with God directly impacts our horizontal relationship with others. If not, we are faking it.
It's not enough to say we have a relationship with God. It MUST impact our daily life.
Men, give up to God.
Submit your agenda and will to him.
Prayer is the foundation.
It is the responsibility of men to lead their family and this begins with prayer and submission to his will.
