Love

Love never gives up...that's one of the characteristics of agape love in 1 Cor.13. What about when you've prayed and prayed for someone you love and your request seems no closer to being answered than when you started praying it years ago and you feel like saying 'heck with it'?? Answer: Love never gives up. I have to keep reminding myself what a preacher said, "God is working even if you don't see it." Love never gives up.
