Me vs. Christ: There's no sacrificial comparison

"Anyone who is a follower of Christ may be called to relinquish control of life, possessions, career, traditions and more. Sacrifice cannot remain an abstract concept."

Jesus paid it all.
All to him I owe.
Sin had left a crimson stain.
He washed it white as snow.
Oh, praise the One who paid my debt
And raised this life up from the dead.
Jesus!

There is nothing I can sacrifice or surrender that measures up to what Jesus gave. Therefore, the least I can do is to show myself responsible for all He has entrusted to me.

Lord, please teach me how to be a faithful and responsible steward over all you have entrusted into my care -- family, material possessions (car, condo, etc), clients, colleagues. And may you be glorified through my attitude and approach toward all. In Jesus name, Amen!
