Wow,

Abraham makes some profound but wise statements at times. He has faith and demonstrates this in his communications. He compels his lead servant to do something and not decieve him. The servant questions Abraham about his possible success with the task at hand. The response from abraham is that if the Girl will not come back then you are free of this obligation. He doesnt say this to make the task earier for his servant but because God has given this prophesy to him and he fully believes it. He has no reason to doubt.

Where the servant had a doubt he went with Gods will. This was also the way of Nahor and his family.

The really cool thing about this is the testimony of the Servant. He takes orders and shows faith and honor to his master. He didnt doubt his masters direction and request but did doubt the prophesy (probably not on purpose). What is interesting is the way Abraham handles this. He is patient and wise in how he works with the servant and uses wise words to allow the servant to fulfil the prophesy.

The next part is the awesome part which is the testamony of the servant. He prays to the Lord of Abraham... (God is his Lord too... When his prayers are answered right before his eyes, he is astonished. The witnes of Nahros family and the faith they show builds the faith of the servant. Not only is Abrahams prophesy brought to fruition but the Servant will prosper with the inplanting of the holy spirit.

Faith is like the dust a beautiful gold shimmer. When people get close to it, it rubs off on them and they begin to shine. They dont have to have faith to get faith.

Think about how you came to the Lord. Did someones faith fall onto you or rub off on you???? Your testimony is one of the most powerful things you can share. It is a practical recognition of the Lords effect on your life and it will build faith in others.
