SOAP 3 - ACTS 3
S: "The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go." - Acts 3:13
O: As Peter speaks to the crowd, I cant help but realize that the majority wanted Jesus crusified, and they were wrong. Just because everyone else is doing it doesnt make it right. When he mentions the God of Abrahan, Issac, and Jacob, etc. He was reminded them of who they were and all that was foretold of the Messaiah...that should have pierced their hearts
A: When faced with decisions, we can not choose based on what everyone else is doing or saying. We must make a determination for ourselves based on what God has defined as right. If we are unsure we must look to our godly ancestors and godly history for guiadance. If the world is going toward it, it probably is not rooted in Godliness.
P: LORD help me to see YOUR righteousness in every situation. Help to remember your miracles and blessings through my life and through time. If the way gets blurry help me to be mindful of your ways, and to be still and look to you and the examples you left through your word.
