Don't think...just pray!!
Jesus often withdrew from crowds to keep His time and so, His relationship with God. This tells me that He knew the importance and priority His communication with God meant. And that nothing could suffice this relationship....So here I am at 2:44 am thinking about how little I've been praying of recent. Daniel prayed 3 times a day and I would believe that he probably did so at the same time each day!
So why can't I get in quality prayer time with You Lord?
If I complete my morning prayers and devotion that's probably it, unless I have a quiet moment in the day....
Lord, this is not how I want to walk with You! I know you are in my thoughts in the day but that cannot be enough!
Help me Father to call on You with no reservation! At any time and any place not just in when in distress but with praise and thanksgiving! I don't have an excuse Lord! How can I claim that my time with work or family is a problem when You Lord are prospering my life in You!
My husband's business as we grow, my marriage as I adapt a renewed posture, my family as the children grow more in You Lord, my household that is blessed can be a blessing for someone....
Your word says that I will be blessed because I fear You and walk in Your ways. I shall enjoy the fruit of my labour and be joyful and prosperous! So I thank You Lord for your blessings and I pray to be mindful that all that I have is from You and so to You be all praise, honour and glory. And so it is.
