Exodus 4:31 NLT

Then the people of Israel were convinced that the LORD had sent Moses and Aaron. When they heard that the LORD was concerned about them and had seen their misery, they bowed down and worshiped.

The elders had just finished listening to Mosses and Aaron concerning what Gift had told them. They believed and then they worshipped Him.

The biggest thing that bothers me concerning this passage is the second half..."when they heard that the LORD was concerned about them and had seen their misery, they bowed down and worshiped." Does this mean they weren't worshipping Him before, just complaining and crying out to Him? God deserves our worship, our praise, our prayed. Our relationship with Him should not be based on circumstances, but should be the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, for God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Let us worship Him daily, through any and every circumstance.

Lord, thank You for these words. May my words be pleasing to You and a blessing to others.
