new wine
One of the readings given during our 21 day fast as a church. The wine represents the Holy Spirit. Jesus who baptizes with the Holy Ghost and fire will not pour his Holy Ghost into unclean old man( the old sinner man-or old ways that one may keep giving into). Fasting helps act as a purge. However one must make the effort to stay clean in mind, body and Spirit. Hallelujah. I am committed to staying a clean strong vessel, waiting to be filled or poured into by the Holy Spirit.
