prayed for flu- God healed his knees

I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart. I will tell all the miracles you have done. (Psalm 9:1 NCV)

Yes, I've witnessed your miracles. I will just go ahead a tell a few!

My husband had bad knee's. Large doses of Motrin each day. Bone on bone and cartilage gone! Several surgeries. Lotta pain. He could not get down on the floor on his knees.

One night before church, he was sick with the flu and was staying home. I prayed and anointed him with oil, I went to church, came home, he still had the flu.

A few days later he said to me '"you know, something happened to me when you anointed me and prayed for me."
I said "well you still had the flu. "
But he went on to say that he wasn't taking meds, probably because of the flu, but noticed his knees weren't hurting. At all!
My eyebrows went up...hmmm, maybe just a good couple of days?

The good couple of days has been close to 13 years now he has been healed! He went on to open his own body shop, something he couldn't have done with his old knees because he's on cement floor on his knees!!
He use to tell me it felt like glass when he got down on his knees. Now he does it all the time!

God healed him for a reason, and also another reason was we helped start a new church and he became our drum player! Another thing he couldn't have done with bad knees. He hadn't played in years, but he's been our drum player for close to 12 years now!

God does have reasons and seasons. We had prayed for his knees for years and finally settled into the thought that this was just his burden to carry, and we quit praying. But God didn't forget!

I have other miracles to tell, but this one will suffice for now! I'll tell you more in another
Psalms perhaps!
