O: I am to love my wife like Christ loves me and give myself up for her
A: I will examine my relationship and see what I can do to serve my family and wife in greater ways
P: God, this is a pretty steep command that we have, an overwhelming one, to be Your love as imperfect people for our wives just as You loved us. I wonder how close any of us come to this calling. I know that I can be stubborn and selfish in things that don't matter, and I know that I don't always love or serve like I should, or even lead. Help me to be the leader that You want me to be for my family and help me to lean on You through it all as that is the only thing that is going to get me even close to Your calling. Thank You that it is Your strength and not mine that is going to accomplish this as You work through me.
